STORIES FROM PUB CORNERS
STORIES FROM PUB CORNERS
An evening of stories and acoustic music over a pint or two, our very first production, Stories from Pub Corners was a pilot pub-theatre project funded by Appetite’s The Kitchen.
Performed by 3 actors and a musician to an audience of drinkers in the side room of a pub, the evening featured the tales and complaints of peculiar pub characters from an occupationally frustrated petty thief come to flog stolen Asda knickers to the tipsy pub singer, Staffordshire’s top, and only, Shania Twain tribute, attempting to get over the breakdown of her marriage through song.
‘Really intimate and engaging performances by all three. Lovely use of music and audience interaction.’ Audience member
